Margot first tried yoga in 2003, while attending college, in a class called “stretch and strength”. After studying movement through the lens of ballet and dance for nearly 15 years, she found the opportunity to move mindfully, which judgment or comparison both intriguing and liberating. She has been teaching yoga since 2006 after completing her yoga teacher training at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. Since becoming a mother herself, she has specialized in prenatal and postpartum yoga, having trained with Shana Celnicker-Chong at The Bhakti Yoga Movement Center and Tina Lilly of The Yoga Way to Birth. Her biggest goal in teaching yoga to create safe(r) and more inclusive spaces for all people during pregnancy and postpartum. She is also a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice focused on perinatal mental health, a mother to 3 and loves how yoga shows up in all aspects of her life.
